 Dr. Anne Sassen
Dr. Sassen is a 1990 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine. She practiced Feline Exclusive and
Emergency Medicine in the suburbs of Detroit, MI for 5 years before returning to
Minnesota.
She is a member of American
Association of Feline Practitioners, Cornell feline Health Center, Minnesota Veterinary
Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and Past President of the

Association. She and her husband Kevin, also a veterinarian, share their home with
their 2 cats-Linus and Danny, a Golden Retriever-Hallee, and a Yellow Lab-Spiker. |
Dr. Lori Boettcher
Dr. Lori Boettcher graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. She worked in a cat exclusive clinic in North Central Florida for 4
years. After returning to Minnesota, Dr. Boettcher worked in a small animal practice
before joining the Cats Preferred staff in 2001.
She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, Cornell Feline Health
Center and American Veterinary Medical Association. Her, her husband and their two
daughters live with their 4 cats-Albie, Bo, Hailey and Gator and Hardy a yellow lab . |
Dr. Ellen Buckley
Dr. Ellen Buckley graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. She completed her undergraduate training in animal science at the
University of New Hampshire. Dr. Buckely has worked at feline only practices since 1994
and joined Cats Preferred in 2001.
Her husband Robert owns a floor covering/furniture business in Northfield, MN. They live
in Apple Valley with their two kids, two cats-Klondike, and Marion, and one dog-Kia who is
a Labrador retriever/Australian shepherd mix. |
Dr. Debbie Singer
Dr. Debbie Singer graduated from the University of Minnesota College
of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Singer has worked at a feline
excusive practice in the Twin Cities for the past 6 years and just
joined Cats Preferred in July of 2007.
She is a member of the Association of Feline Practitioners, American
Veterinary Medical Association, Cornell Feline Health Center and the
Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association. She resides in Maplewood
with husband Alan and their two cats Digby and Spokey. |
Beth - Certified Veterinary Technician
Beth is a Certified
Veterinary Technician and has been with Cats Preferred since April
of 2003. Beth prefers cats, with three of her own: Annie (Pie),
Delilah (Big D), and Rogi (Igor), but also has Kally the dog and
Danny the palomino-quarter horse. Her non-animal family consists of
her husband and two children. |
Maria – Veterinary Technician
Maria is a Veterinary Technician who just graduated from Argosy
University in May 2007. She joined Cats Preferred this past July.
She grew up on a dairy farm and has been around animals her whole
life! She is living in St. Paul with her husband and can’t wait to
move out of their no pet apartment and get a cat of her own! |
Amy - Certified
Veterinary Technician
Amy W is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated
from the Medical Institute of Minnesota/Argosy in June of 2002. She
worked at a mixed practice clinic while going to school, then
started working there as a Technician. She started at Cats Preferred
in September of 2005. She enjoys all animals especially cats! Lives
with her fiancé in Minnetonka, and share the house with Sammy and
Captain their very outspoken cats. She hopes someday to get a pug,
maybe after the wedding!!! |
Patti - Certified Veterinary Technician
Patti is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She’s been with Cats
Preferred since Nov. 2004. She has 3 cats at home- Toni, Gidget and
Rosie. |
