 Dr. Anne Sassen
Dr. Sassen is a 1990 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine. She practiced Feline Exclusive and
Emergency Medicine in the suburbs of Detroit, MI for 5 years before returning to
Minnesota.
She is a member of American
Association of Feline Practitioners, Cornell feline Health Center, Minnesota Veterinary
Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and Past President of the

| Metropolitan Animal Hospital
Association. She and her husband Kevin, also a veterinarian, share their home with
their 2 cats-Linus and Danny, and a Golden Retriever-Hallee. |
Dr. Lori Boettcher
Dr. Lori Boettcher graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. She worked in a cat exclusive clinic in North Central Florida for 4
years. After returning to Minnesota, Dr. Boettcher worked in a small animal practice
before joining the Cats Preferred staff in 2001.
She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, Cornell Feline Health
Center and American Veterinary Medical Association. Her, her husband and their two
daughters live with their 4 cats-Coconut,
Scooter, Pumpkin, Haley and Hardy a yellow lab . |
Dr. Ellen Buckley
Dr. Ellen Buckley graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. She completed her undergraduate training in animal science at the
University of New Hampshire. Dr. Buckely has worked at feline only practices since 1994
and joined Cats Preferred in 2001.
Her husband Robert owns a floor covering/furniture business in Northfield, MN. They live
in Apple Valley with their two kids, cats-Klondike, Marion,
Ginger, and one dog-Kia who is
a Labrador retriever/Australian shepherd mix. |
Dr. Debbie Singer
Dr. Debbie Singer graduated from the University of Minnesota College
of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Singer has worked at a feline
excusive practice in the Twin Cities since that
time and joined Cats Preferred in July of 2007.
She is a member of the Association of Feline Practitioners, American
Veterinary Medical Association, Cornell Feline Health Center and the
Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association. She resides in Maplewood
with her husband and their
four cats Digby, Spokey,
Beebelena and Manley. |
Jill -
Certified Veterinary Technician
Jill is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has worked in the
field since 2000 and graduated from Argosy University in 2001. She
has been with Cats Preferred since May 2009. She lives in Minnetonka
with her husband and Pomeranian Snickers. She is currently looking
for the perfect kitty house mate for little Snickers. For now,
her kitty void is being filled by her friend's cats and time at Cats
Preferred. |
Amy - Certified
Veterinary Technician
Amy is a Certified Veterinary Technician and is the office
manager. She has worked in the Veterinary field since 1999 and
graduated from Argosy in 2002. She began working at Cats Preferred
in 2005. She lives in Minnetonka with her husband, 2 cats Sammy and
Captain, and just adopted a puppy named Indie. |

Annie - Certified
Veterinary Technician
Annie is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She
graduated from Argosy University in 2008. She interned at Cats
Preferred and then started full time in June 2008. She lives with
her husband and 3 black cats, Cali, Polly and Ruby.

Jennifer - Certified Veterinary Technician
Jennifer is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated
from Argosy University in April 2008, and also began working part
time at Cats Preferred. She is now full time. Jennifer has 2 cats
Myra and Prince Erik, a dog named Ace and a parakeet, Stanley. She
lives in St. Paul with her significant other and daughter. |
Trisha-Certified Veterinary Technician
Trisha is a certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from Globe
College in December 2003. She has worked as a technician since that
time and joined Cats Preferred in December 2009. She lives in Anoka
with her husband and 2 pets Jaxon and Jade.

Nancy-Veterinary
Receptionist
Nancy came to Cats Preferred in September 2009 with an extensive
background in the field. She worked for years with Veterinarians as
a technician and manager. She also ran her own award winning pet
sitting business. Nancy has been a long time Plymouth resident along
with her husband and their various pets throughout the years.
Currently adding joy to their home is a tuxedo cat, Hemi and the dog
he likes to boss around, Bowzer |
